New Wave Water Polo Club was founded by Raul Ricci in July 2022 in South Perth. A committee of passionate parents — all with children training at the Water Polo Talent Academy (WPTA) — came together to give every boy and girl the opportunity to play water polo in a supportive, inclusive club.
For us, water polo is more than competition. It's a channel for fitness, confidence, community, and friends for life. We welcome beginners and experienced players of all ages.
Every child deserves the chance to play. All levels, all ages, all welcome.
Fabulous families, committed coaches, vivacious volunteers.
WA Club of the Year 2025. National medals. State representation.
Our priority — help kids fall in love with the sport.

Whether your child is new to the water or chasing national selection, New Wave has the right program.
