Water Polo for All.

New Wave Water Polo Club was founded by Raul Ricci in July 2022 in South Perth. A committee of passionate parents — all with children training at the Water Polo Talent Academy (WPTA) — came together to give every boy and girl the opportunity to play water polo in a supportive, inclusive club.

For us, water polo is more than competition. It's a channel for fitness, confidence, community, and friends for life. We welcome beginners and experienced players of all ages.

WA Club of the Year 2025. Three premierships in 25/26. National medals. State representation.

Our Growth

Built in 2022.

Established in 2022, New Wave made a splash from day one — 3 teams in our first season, 2 Grand Finals reached, and a club built around boys, girls and seniors of every level.

3 teams → 11 Club of the Year 2025 3 Premierships 2025/26

Today our juniors compete at national championships and our players represent WA.

Next chapter: a dedicated home pool at Wesley College, more teams at every age group, and a club that keeps building — wave after wave.
